GD Energy Products (GDEP), a leader in providing total solutions for the frac, drilling, and well servicing pump market, has achieved a major milestone with its 2500Q HDF quintuplex pumps. Several units have now surpassed 16,000 hours of operation, showcasing their outstanding durability and reliability in some of the most challenging hydraulic fracturing environments.

This milestone follows an earlier announcement that 22 of the pumps had surpassed 10,000 hours. With pumps now exceeding 16,000 hours, the 2500Q HDF pumps continue to outperform industry standards, delivering a performance life over 43 percent greater than the average. These pumps have shown remarkable resilience in high-pressure regions, including the Haynesville, Marcellus/Utica and Permian basins, where operating pressures range from 8,000 PSI to 12,500 PSI.

Andy Muck, key account manager, GDEP, said, "Reaching over 16,000 hours of operation with our 2500Q HDF pumps is a testament to the exceptional durability and engineering behind our products. This milestone demonstrates our commitment to providing customers with reliable, long-lasting equipment that consistently meets and exceeds expectations."

The HDF pump’s success is attributed to extensive engineering improvements, including redesigned frames with thicker steel and enhanced bearing retention systems. These modifications address common challenges such as premature power end frame cracks, reducing unplanned maintenance, lowering total cost of ownership and increasing pumping hours with minimal downtime.

With the continued success of its 2500Q HDF pumps, GDEP reinforces its commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, ensuring service companies operate efficiently and cost-effectively in an ever-evolving industry.
